I’m hearing on my Welsh grapevine that Aberystwyth Uni still has vacancies in some subject areas and will be offering at least five hours per week of face to face teaching, in addition to any other teaching inputs this autumn.
Accommodation can also be guaranteed to Clearing applicants at least until mid-September.
Being located in a small coastal town with a spacious campus far from the madding crowd gives it certain advantages in the coronavirus era and I’m told that lots of adjustments have been made to their facilities too.
At the same time Aber can boast a buzzing social scene alongside its academic excellence. As it says on whatuni.com: “students love its location and social life, while it’s internationally renowned for the quality of its teaching and research”.
The charm of the location can’t be denied either…

For any potential applicants who would like to go and see for themselves before making a decision, strictly-controlled visits and tours can be arranged via this link:

Thanks to my Aber contact Barrie Clark for the update.
